Carved Stag Bone is a pattern created out of necessity and a substitute for Stag. The pattern has evolved over the years, but the principle is the same.

The photo displayed is an example AFTER the pieces have been sanded. They will look almost black upon arrival so they must be sanded to bring out the color. You can determine how much color you want to display by the more you sand. Since this is a natural material, all pieces take the dye a little differently but will all be very similar. We have many other options so please inquire. We have a unique dye process that allows the dye to penetrate the bone and stag and acts as a stabilizer as well. We offer a dye service for client's material also.
